| | Rickard Rydell hat am Montag seinen ersten Test im Team von Chevrolet Motorsport Schweden absolviert. Der Test dient bereits als Vorbereitung für die kommende Saison der Scandinavian Touring Car Championship (STCC).
"It was a very much positive test, the guys in the team are working well and it is really good that we already in october have started the pre-season tests" sagte Rydell zu stcc.se.
"The test at Mantorp is perhaps most of all about Rickard familiarizing himself with the car and the team, but it also gives us the opportunity to work together before we go abroad for further testing" sagte Teammanager Nicklas Karlsson.
Rydell hatte bereits zuvor einmal auf dem Ring Knutstorp im Chevrolet Cruze getestet, bevor er seinen Vertrag bei der Mannschaft um Karlsson unterschrieb.
"There is a lot of things that we need to work on the setup of the car and the advantage that I see is that the team has run the car in STCC this year, giving us a great platform to start from. And it is going to be needed, the championship was tough this year and is going to be tougher next year" sagte eine Rydell, der sich nach einem Jahr Pause schon auf die nächste Saison freut. | | | |
